The Altium Development team is pleased to announce the 23rd update for Altium Designer which brings additional enhancements to Altium Designer, and includes a new command in the PCB editor and PCB library editor to deselect objects by touching rectangle or touching line, as well as Polygon pour order management and PCB Rules dialog improvements. More updates to the FPGA device and vendor tools support and the Importers.

This release brings additional enhancements to Altium Designer, with the key highlights being:

- New deselect touching line and rectangle
The PCB editor and PCB library editor have been updated with new commands to deselect objects by touching rectangle or touching line.
- Easier polygon pour order management
You can now modify the polygon pour order within the Polygon Manager (Tools>>Polygon Pours>>Polygon Manager) by using drag and drop. This can greatly speed up the reordering process when dealing with a large amount of polygons.
- PCB Rule dialog improvements
New functionality has been added to the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog (Design>>Rules) allowing you to delete multiple selected rules.
- Importer improvements
This update includes additional improvements to the Mentor PADS PCB, PADS Logic and Expedition importers.
- Updated support for vendor tools and devices
Xilinx ISE v14.3, Lattice Diamond 2.0.1, Altera QuartusII and NiosII version 12.0 SP2 are now supported. Software Platform support for Atmel AT86RF231 Wireless 802.15.4 device is now available - including LR-WPAN physical layer with generic AES encryption/decryption service.
