To install the latest updates, no need to install everything, just download and install the latest. But in previous versions of SPB happened that after the update appear "fresh" glitches, then try to install the previous one. Operating System: Windows 2008 R2 Server; Windows XP Professional SP3; Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit) except Starter and Home Basic; Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) (Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate).
It is recommended, if migrating from XP, that you plan on using Windows 7 64-bit. While Cadence software does not currently utilize 64-bit addressing, this will position you for future releases.
We do not recommend that you migrate to Vista.
Processor Intel IA-32 compatible (includes Intel P4 EMT and AMD OpteronTM); 1.2 GHz minimum; 2.4 GHz or more is recommended.
Note: Cadence SPB products do not support the IPF chip.
Memory: A minimum of 1 GB system memory.

Researchers and engineers use CST STUDIO SUITE for the design of EM based components in application areas as diverse as MW&RF component design, EMC and signal integrity analysis. CST’s software release, CST STUDIO SUITE version 2011 and its multitude of powerful new features and functionality can help them to streamline their workflows and shorten development cycles.

Automatic optimization and sensitivity analysis are key requirements in a highly efficient design flow. Both of the CST MICROWAVE STUDIO (CST MWS) general purpose electromagnetic solvers – time and frequency domain - can provide sensitivity information for an arbitrary number of parameters in just one simulation run. The newly implemented trust region framework in CST STUDIO SUITE 2011 can employ the sensitivity information to cut down optimization time dramatically. Yield analysis for complex three dimensional models is now available at virtually no additional computational cost. High performance computing options are now also available for the frequency domain and the integral equation solver.

Engineers interested in the analysis of radiated emissions and susceptibility will benefit from a single unified environment for all EMC related modeling tasks, including greatly simplified model set up and simulation. The CST MWS TLM solver (CST MICROSTRIPES) and CST CABLE STUDIO (CST CS) provide powerful features for “real world” EMC analysis including coupled simulations which enable large system analysis and installed performance studies. In pre-processing, the definition of compact equivalent aperture models and cable harnesses will be performed in CST’s familiar design environment. Coupling between the electromagnetic field and cable solvers is further enhanced to enable direct transient simulation of susceptibility problems in systems containing complex cable bundles, including shielded twisted pair circuits.

The multi-physics flow inside CST STUDIO SUITE 2011 has been enhanced further. Based on one single simulation model, the simulation task concept facilitates optimization, considering electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical. The temperature calculated from the electromagnetic losses can be used to change the material parameters automatically for a consecutive electromagnetic field simulation. CST MPHYSICS STUDIO now also features a thermal solver on tetrahedral grids.

The Altium Development team are pleased to announce the 18th update for Altium Designer which includes a significant number of enhancements and BugCrunch items. This release is also the first step into Altium Designer 12. First step into Altium Designer 12, visible through new branding that you will see displayed in this update. A significant number of enhancements and BugCrunch items are included with this update. Here's a sample of some that we hope will interest you:

STEP model preview:

A visual preview is now available when selecting a 3D STEP model in the PCB or library editors dialog box, which helps browsing through options when embedding a 3D body.

New track selection mode: A new Select Track command has been added that provides the option of selecting connected track segments on the current layer пїЅ in effect, to select connected copper until the layers change or a component pad is encountered. In addition, the Select Physical Connection option has been changed so that tracks covered by a component pad are included in the selection.

Show contents while moving large selections: Pasting and moving of large schematic selections has been improved so that once rendered, the contents remains visible while placement is made.

These new features were requested through BugCrunch. In total, 22 BugCrunch items have been included in this latest update, along with various other enhancements. Some worth mentioning include:

- Revised net violation handling with repeated sheets
- Improved junction handling and rendering
- Output jobs no longer modify the absolute path when set to use relative path
- Output path and log folder path now update with the project name
- Numerous FPGA/Embedded enhancements including support for the ST Microelectronics M25P (SPI) family of serial flash devices in embedded designs
- Updated localizations for various languages
